Default apple script for batch fades

Dear fellows,

please, does someone have an apple script for selecting a preset in the batch fades window?

Thanks a lot.

Cheers
Maik

I know soundflow. It looks really great, but I don't like more subscriptions.

As someone else pointed out, you can probably cobble together a Keyboard Maestro command for this, but; you *do* know that there are 5 user-programmable presets in the fade dialog which can be recalled with ctl-1 through 5 yes?

I got keyboard maestro, but I want to start a script in KM, instead of doing a search for the button.

Thanks Rich for the hint. I will try that.

Cheers

No - Pro Tools does not support Apple Script in ANY way. Apple Script is a very particular way of sending commands to apps via scripting and run processes in the background - and Pro Tools does not work with it - it is not "scriptable" - at all.the OP asked about Apple Script. Simply put - KB Maestro / QuicKeyes emulates mouse clicks and presses key keyes and can call on some system info and variants etc - but nowhere near the power of having an Apple Script compatible app.

I use AppleScript in conjunction with Keyboard Maestro to accomplish exactly this task and the original poster might find that information useful. While you can't call specific Pro Tools operations and functions, you can retrieve enough information from the window manager to move things along.

here's a keyboard maestro script to set the batch fade window to 1 frame fade up, 1 frames x-fade, 1 frame fade out.
