Piano roll focus / scriolling
Hello,
Are there any settings, key commands to center the notes, or options I'm missing where I can set how mouse operations act when manipulating where in the view the MIDI notes are displayed? For example, when notes are outside of the current piano roll view (too high or too low) and then trying to better focus the MIDI notes on a piano roll (centering the notes, for example), pulling the piano roll up or down moves the entire roll way too fast for my reaction often resulting in the notes moving too for up or down on the piano roll then requiring more up and down gyrations. Often I'm forced to expand the piano roll view, but while that does work, it slows down the workflow for me. Hope fully explaining this clearly. Any thoughts? TIA, Greg

Re: Piano roll focus / scriolling
Sorry for the late reply. Not sure if you figured it out since posting but maybe this is the shortcut you're looking for:
Select the notes you want to edit and press Opt + F. Selection now in focus. |
