Reel drums isn´t the best.(!)
It depends on what you want.
What´s best is what one needs, and that can be different from time to time...

But reel drums seems very good (even though i haven´t tried/heard them)

If you want a good "acoustic set" with the possibility to blend the natural "room" sound, and some very good percussions, then Discrete Drum WILL work for you.
I use, amongst other things, Discrete Drums, and it works magic on many projects I have...

KK.

I ordered the REX2 version to use in Reason...
Are REX files the same as you'd get on an AIFF, or AKAI, in terms of quality.

Some of the sounds in Reason are a little Cheezoid, low res. sounding, especially in some of the percussion samples. I read somewhere that Rex files go through a type of file compression (not audio compression) to make them smaller.
