Is it possible to use PT Sketch with an external microphone preamp as a recorder?

Hurrah, I got it working! Adding some corrections:

To activate external sound cards and specifically microphones, you must also press the small button in the shape of a microphone at the top for sure!
Initially, I thought it only activates the iPad's microphone, but it activates all configured microphones.
So, if this microphone-shaped button is not pressed, the microphones attached to the external sound card will not start working.
Additionally, I cannot listen with Bluetooth headphones on the iPad; in that case, you have to use the headphones of the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 4th Generation external sound card.

I confirm that the Scarlett 4i4 4th Generation works with an external microphone(s), and I have several high-quality stereo microphones!
