Default HD Cards (NOT HDX)

Hi,

The slightly older HD cards - The ones that support 32 I/O on each card - The models before HDX.

What is the last supported version of PT to work with these cards? - Are they still supported?

I think I read somewhere that PT support was dropped - Any info welcome - I'm asking about this just to know what the situation is - Thanks

Default Re: HD Cards (NOT HDX)

The last supported version was Pro Tools HD 10.
If you are running any modern macOS system, there are no drivers for the cards.

macOS Mountain Lion (10.8) and Windows 7 Service Pack 1 were the last qualified operating systems to run it.
Windows 10 will run it (unqualified.) I don't believe Windows 11 will because of driver signing.
On macOS, Mavericks (10.9) was the last unqualified version people could get it to run IIRC but with some glitches.
