Default Stage 64, Letter I not used as a slot???

I was sitting at work and was looking at the AVID Stage 64 stage boxes and saw that the card slots go A through to M, but skip the letter I.

Has anyone got any knowledge as to why?? Sitting here very puzzled trying to come up with a theory!!!

Default Re: Stage 64, Letter I not used as a slot???

I've always assumed this was to avoid any potential confusion that a slot labeled "I" could be interpreted as being for "Input", when that 9th slot is actually one of the 4x Output slots?
