Digi001 playing only 1 file sometimes and the wrong one at that

I have a Digi001 with a Power Mac G4 and it seems that shortly after upgrading to 5.2.1 I started misplacing files.
It works like this: I'm working with a client and they want to go back and have me solo up a section of a take they have done. When I do, instead of the file that we are looking at playing, I get a different one. Sometimes when this happens, the wrong file becomes the only one that will play.
It's not solo'd or anything. It just won't go away and it won't let anything else play.
Sometimes when this happens, I can exit out of the session and reload it and it clears right up. Other times it won't clear up till maybe hours later.
I've had to send 2 clients home during sessions because of this.
Anyone having the same problem and if so, any clues on how to fix it.
I have a call into Sweetwater Support but after 3 days I haven't heard back.
This is unusual because they usually call with in 1 day's time.
