Playlists Not Showing All Tracks Unless...

Hi there.

I can't figure out why this has happened to my playlists...

After changing from "waveform" to "playlists" - then using the drop down by the name of the track - I don't automatically see all my my playlist tracks.

I did discover that from that same drop-down by the track name - and under "Target Playlist" - there is an option to select "other playlists" - which has all my other takes.
Once I select from this list - it will appear in my list of takes when I select "Playlists" instead of "Waveform"

Currently - I would need to individually select each take - so that they will reappear in may "playlists" view - of all the takes...

I hope this makes sense - as I'm just trying to see all the takes on that track...

Is there a setting I somehow changed or need to change?

Usually other playlists would refer to playlists from different tracks in the same session. You sure, you're on the right track? (No pun intended)

Yeah… though not sure how I couldn’t be… since I can see the other takes by accessing the “other playlists” area

It almost seems that the other takes from that track have somehow become disassociated with the original track… and need to be reactivated or re-recognized…

Do you have any other tracks containing playlists in your session? What happens if you duplicate the track (inlcuding playlists)

Have you tried opening 2024.6? is the same happening?

Interestingly - I noticed that both of these "other playlists" options opens up a long list of all play-listed tracks from all tracks. For example - my guitar "other playlist" lets me select takes from my vocal track.

That's normal behavior.
Via 'other playlists' you can select takes from (wait for it) other playlists. Like you said, if you have a guitar track with several playlists and a vocal track with also several playlists, you can select any of your guitar playlists and add it to your vocal playlists (and vice versa). This only works if the track your taking the playlist from isn't in playlist view, otherwise you'll get this error:

Could not complete your request because the playlist xxx.11 is associated with another track. It must be restored to its original track before switching the playlist group..
