Is there anyway that you could do a simple step by step how you have set this up? I would LOVE to move away from PT12 with my 003 if in anyway this is possible!!!

It sure is supported on OpenCore.

My process is different from yours, although fairly easy, especially yours, since you won't have GPU boot screen issues like I did at first.

Create another APFS container, and keep your system as is, and use the new container.

Then just follow the process with OpenCore. What's neat about 1.5.0 is that there is no need to disable SIP.

The step by step with the Digi 003 driver install. use only this one. I tried the others and even tried Neyrinck, and no go.

Here's the ticket to install the driver. Says Big Sur, but works for Monterey and Sonoma.

CHEERS

One more thing, (BE PATIENT), will boot up 3 or 4 times. You might think at first a boot loop, but no, it's the process, and the last boot you will see the % sign, that's when you know it's almost done.

Bro I took your suggestion on Mac forum. SIMPLE

It sure is supported on OpenCore.

Then just follow the process with OpenCore. What's neat about 1.5.0 is that there is no need to disable SIP.

32BIT, no issues working with the 003.

Hey everyone,

below this video (you have to scroll ab little) you'll find the correctly spelled terminal commands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=662Z...l=OmniProAudio

Quote:

Terminal Commands 1 (Before moving folders)
cd Documents (go to the documents directory)
pkgutil --expand Avid\ 003\ Family\ installer.pkg pkg
(un pack the pkg file) This will create a new folder called pkg

Terminal Commands 2 (After moving folders)
cd /Library/Extensions/
sudo chown -R root:wheel Avid00Family.kext

In the past I first tried the video that Basslik posted, but the commands in this video were impossible for me to decipher... (I'm not so into this terminal-stuff, I'm an artist, haha!)

Thanks so much for your post, Basslik, as jobs are rare in Germany in these times I'm happy to be able to save money, because my old and good setup will still be running in the future.

I think I will upgrade to Sonoma next year.
Best,
Helen
