crash on quit

Everything works fine except, when I quit Protools it quits but at the same time I get a message that protools has quit (crashed?) unexpectedly. Started happening a few days ago, never had this before.

Anything I can do to remedy it?

Mac Pro with OSX 10.8.5, Protools HD3 10.3.7

Thanks tope d, I tried all the suggestions in that list but alas the problem persists. I am now checking whether it is related to a particular session.

It was indeed a particular session. I copied all tracks to a new session discarding all that was made inactive or not used and the problem is gone.
