grrr this compatibility and potential license sabotage irks me too.

It's VERY, very dangerous...if I had known I would have left it all alone and not transferred stuff back and forth on our iLoks...now I've lost all those licenses.

Sure, they work on 10.13 and up...but what good is that? PT10 and our Accel cards don't...that's useless.

“Hello Jay Hudson,

There's an issue we've been investigating for Avid that has arisen on older Pro Tools plugins, where it's had troubles seeing the licenses on iLok v.1. This may be your issue as well, for those plugins you mentioned. I'm going to check, and will let you know what we find.

A bit more info...maybe you already found this.

This only affects plugins that require an iLok 2 or later, on my side of things. The other licenses that can be authorized to iLok 1 did so successfully and work again.
