Default waves\' native power pack

Hi, all.
I just want to make sure that i got right one before just open this software.
I heard that ANY waves bundle is compatible with window me and PTLE, so I ordered NPP 3.0 thru internet and just got it.
However, I still do not even open it up because I do not see anything that it is compatible with PTLE, instead, I can see the cubase, cakewalk, sonic and directX logo for window version.
is NPP3.0 compatible with PTLE? or should I upgrade it to 3.2 to get this compatible?? or..
please answer as soon as possible
thank you

I would suggest you don't open until you have got confirmation from Waves.

At the moment the official RTAS version is in the final stages of beta testing (NPP version 3.2), however a public beta of the waveshell (allowing you to use version 3.0 in PTLE) has been available on the Waves site for a while now.

There has been considerable optimisation and tweaking to integrate version 3.2 a lot more cohesively with the RTAS plugin format so if your primary platform will be PTLE i'd go with version 3.2

I would recommend you contact waves to find out about their upgrade policy (there may be a free upgrade to 3.2 but don't quote me) if there isn't a free ugprade i'd maybe see if you can return version 3.0 and wait til the official release of 3.2

cheers,
marcus

The betatest is over, and all you have to do is download the updater from the waves website to get 3.2. The waveshell is no longer available.
