Default AUv3 plugins?

Does anyone know how to get AUv3 plugins to work within pro tools AAX format? Is there a "wrapper" that can support it?

thanks

The normal wrapper I use, Blue Cat Audio's PatchWork, does not support it. On their forum they explain about possible future integration:

Quote:
"It may indeed come in the future, but it is currently not "planned". It requires a plug-in scanner, as AU V3 plug-ins are actually declared by applications and cannot be selected manually.
The AU3 implementation of Vienna Ensemble Pro has been in beta for awhile, and only seems (from what I've tried) to have itself as an AU3 plugin. Not to host AU3s yet.

But standard AU, VST and VST3 in both of those are fine.

Per the rules of the DUC, you should post questions 1 time in 1 thread. You have answers in your duplicate so I suggest you request a moderator to delete this duplicate Meanwhile, go to your other post and maybe mention what AU3 plugin you want to run that is not available as AAX64.
