Default Automation Trouble - Help Please?

Hi:
Im trying to automate a plugin effect, for example, the Master Bypass for the SansAmp. Even though the automation points showup correctly in the waveform, the effect is not responding correctly. It will come on but won't turn off, or be on all the time, crazy stuff like that. I can monitor it fine, but even thing goes haywire on playback. Anyone have any suggestions on why this would be happening? Hope to hear back, thanks, Chris

is this only happening with Sansamp ? If so, maybe it's a bug and you should contact sansamp

Thanks for the reply, steppenwolf68. No, it seems to be happening with everything. I never had this trouble before. Not sure if this could be realted but I did have to lower my buffer size to get rid of a slapback thing happening when recording with my microphone. I tried changing the buffer back but the automation problem was still there. Could it be a buffer or ram thing causing the automation to go haywire? Do I have to reboot after changing the buffer or is it an automatic change? Any suggestions?

Thought I'd give this one final bump and hope for some suggestions.
