Problem w/ Boom

I have a problem. Boom is constantly playing every time i open it as an insert and i can't stop it unless i bypass the insert or remove the insert from the track. It just plays the same beat over and over even when its stopped. Is there some weird setting that I have on that constantly plays a beat?
