Default Re: Premiere Pro AAF to PT

Just imported an 8+ Gb AAF file from PP to PT today to score and mix a 2 hour, 20 minute doc. Perfect on all fronts, including both rendered and raw files from the editor's session.

So this was an embedded or a referenced AAF? What were the export settings?

Well, after I spelled it out for the editor explicitly. It was embedded, and here are the instructions I sent him:

Mixdown video: unchecked
Use tape sources when present: unchecked
Breakout to Mono: check
Render audio clip effects: check if you've done any of that
Include clip copies without effects: check if you're exporting audio clip effects
Sample Rate: 48k
Bits per Sample: 24
Preserve media directory name: Won't be available when you choose Embed Audio
Format: Broadcast Wav
Render: Trim Audio Files
Handle Frames: 120
