Default OSX Sierra dual monitors bug

This is a bit of a repost from an earlier thread.
When using two monitors, if I drag any PT related window over to a second monitor, the upper part or all of the window goes white. I need to close and re-open to see the full window. Happens in either direction (secondary --> primary or primary ---> secondary )
This happens with plug-in windows as well as mixer/edit window or any PT window.

See attached photo.

OSX Sierra 10.12.56

I had this when using NVIDIA drivers with GTX 1080.
Your screen captures are the same redraw issue.
No mater what Pro Tools setting was for "Use GPU" or not.

I went back to-Mac edition AMD HD 7950 and this went away.

Go Figure, Older slower card but better Mac Drivers I figure.
I use 3 displays BTW.
Also worth noting that predominantly most issues the GTX1080 video was with Pro Tools with Multi displays.

Seeing as your using a Radeon card, are you using adaptors?
If so try different Graphic ports and or add Active-adaptors.

Also try resetting P-Ram.

I don't have that problem, though I am on El capitan, no way would I ever move to Sierra if I don't need to.
Can you revert to El Capitan?

Thanks but that's unfortunately not really an option. Hoping to get a proper Sierra fix.

Having the same problem running Sierra, I don't think its a OS problem or driver issue since in Nuendo when moving plug-in windows to the next screen does not show the same issue as PT does

I reported the same issue five months ago.
See this.

Anybody seen an Nvidia update for the GT 120? Anybody?

I just spoke with Support about this and they said that it's a known issue and they are working on a fix.
They sent me this workaround and voila. It fixed my issue.

Under System preferences>Displays>Color set all monitors to the same display profile. In the test, Rec. ITU-R BT.2020-1 was most effective. If windows go white in the process of changing profiles close and reopen them. Once all profiles are matched windows can be dragged between monitors.

Well oil beef hooked!
It works!

Thank you, Macsearcher. I had been considering replacement of the stock GT 120 hoping to solve this issue. No need now. The common Display Profile isn't perfect on my newer right-hand monitor, but I can live with it.

Well done, Sir or Madam!
