upload song info to iTunes

I know that its possible to upload song title and other info to the iTunes database, but I can't figure it out and every google search returns 100 ways to change song titles in MY iTunes(not what I need). Can anyone point me in the right direction? The idea is so that when someone loads my CD into their iTunes, the correct song and album info come up. Thanks

Hey Albee'sure thatz mostly depends on the software u use in burning or Mastering; I think even bouncing or exporting a file should retain text in itunes but I kno for certain it is in regard to whatz being used for burns...

Well, I read several months ago that it was possible to load a CD into my iTunes, input all the track and album info and upload it to the main iTunes database. Now I can't find that info.(I thought I wrote it down due to the old brain bucket leaking like a sieve......)

albee, have you looked through all of the iTunes menus?

Advanced > Submit CD Track Names...

You can only do this with a physical CD sitting in the drive (or mounted disk image I suppose).

Well, I'll have to look again as I THOUGHT I hit every page. First thing tomorrow I'll dive into that and cross my fingers.
