Is anyone using this URS plugin yet.

http://www.ursplugins.com/bltpromo.html

The $49 price is right, how about the sound?

HI,

I admit I have not tried it yet, but from the URS plug-ins I have I condclude this can´t be wrong for $49! I consider URS to be in the same league as McDSP and SONY.

Some in the TDM form REALLY liked it.

I´ll take ot the BLT next week.

it's great! shelving filters at 100Hz and 5kHz where you will likely use them anyway very cpu-effective, too...

I am just toying with the BLT (DEMO) an I am quite delighted.

Besides that you can achieve with same with other EQ with a lot more Work, it´s the easyness that smacks you right on the head.
And in my opinion the BOTTOM END of this little one sounds fantastic. Tight and no sight of muddiness.
Those EQ curves are great.

the heights are great, too but the bottom lets things roll on my system.
I´ve got to do more test, tomorrow.

The plug induces the URS ´typical´ 2 samples delay so the argument of CPU effectiveness is a bit in question.

BUt I guess for the $50 this is the most price sensitive "instant sweetener" you might get.

just my HO.
best

Plugin delay and CPU load are completely unrelated.

Definitely worth $100 (for TDM) in my opinion and I have so many EQ plugins already.

Definitely one of the better $49 plug ins for LE. Worth getting, and very musical. Plus great and near instant customer support.
