Default 001 manuals

As a new user of a 001 system,
I'd like to get an 'after market' manual
on the 001 system. Similar to the SAM'S
manual for ACID 3.0. (Great to read, and extremely
helpful).

I like having a book in my hands.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Tim

The best ****ter reader on the planet IS the actual Pro Tools manual. available from digidesign for only 35.00.

I have 2.
1 for the pooper and 1 for the studio.

Sneak into the office (or have a friend do it); print the entire PT Reference Guide PDF doc. - all 600 pages! If you're morally compelled, maybe at least spring for a packet of copy paper... Digi does a really fine job on these, but I must agree sometimes computer access to so much mat'l can be tiresome.
Here's a new book about PT:

here is a link for a book i have:

www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0240516400/qid=1023466732/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-0838133-0248000

i'm about halfway through with it and so far it's a pretty good read. certainly not as "dry" as reading the straight manual.

As far as the PTLE manual is concerned, it is really quite a gripping tale and had me at the edge of my seat for the most part, but found that the ending fell a bit flat. I was expecting a plot twist or surprise ending. All in all, a good read. ***1/2

Not listed on the DigiStore, but also available from Digi Customer Service are French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese versions.
