Default Jack Johnson vocals

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to make vocals sound similar to Jack Johnson, particularly on the album "In Between Dreams". It sounds like they are maybe recording the vocals twice and playing the two tracks together? Any tips on eq'ing vocals that sound like him? I have a vocalist that sounds very similar to him as far as range, tone and smoothness. Thanks for any tips.
