Default "Play Midi Notes When Editing" Speaker Icon toggle is missing from Docked Midi Editor

Play Midi Notes When Editing toggle is missing from Docked Midi Editor.
Avid - please address and correct this. It should be there.
Thanks,
Carl

It's in the counter section of the main edit window.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the post.
I do know that it's in the main edit window near the counter.

Please have a look at my screenshot again.
It's not in the docked midi editor window.

The top window is the standard midi editor window which does have the "speaker Icon"
The bottom is the docked midi editor window, which does not have that option.

I think the midi editor and docked midi editor should be consistent, especially since there is no key command to enable/disable this feature.
Thanks again.

Did it used to be there? If so, I'd open a support ticket and report it.

Sure, but with the docked MIDI window you’ll always have the main edit window counter shown. Point of style. I get what you see as a lack of consistency between the docked and floating windows.

From your screenshot it looks like that section in the docked view is truncated and partially hidden.
Try dragging it out by pressing Command then clicking and dragging at its edges.
(Ctrl + click n drag on Windows).

Or whatever the Mac equiv is.

Hope that works.

Update: Sorry I was looking at the wrong section. But maybe it will still work (even though I can see the edge).
