Well I'd bet good money that it does!
My DAW over the years has been problem-free, and I know it's because of this - and not just Pro Tools of course - all DAW software has worked glitchless on my system.

I'm aware that some people can't afford to own more than one computer - I'm just saying that many with all-on-one computer systems don't seem to want to aknowledge that this could be a contributing factor to the issues that they're having.
And it would be an impossible task for Avid to come up with the solution to every possible combination of configurations - software or hardware.
