Installation problem
Ok I just bought a new External hard drive and am running my mac 10.6.3 through it, I'm using an apogee duet interface....so when I try to install pro tools 9 this message pops up:
" Important: Two key commands that Pro Tools uses to initiate recordings are assigned to Mac OS X “Dashboard” and “Spotlight” or "Default Input Sources Toggle Keyboard Shortcut" key commands. In order to use these Pro Tools key commands, the corresponding Mac key commands must be disabled. Please refer to your Pro Tools Installation Guide for detailed instructions on how to disable these Mac key commands. " I then proceed to the installation guide and do what it says, i literally disabled every key command but when I try to install it again it just says the same thing, please help if you have any possible suggestions. It always says that... It's not an error message, it's simply a suggestion. Nothing is preventing Pro Tools from installing.

Re: Installation problem

Re: Installation problem
PT must be installed on the system drive. It needs to put components in certain places on the system drive.
Q: "System Error -35" (No Such Volume, Volume Not Found) trying to record in Pro Tools. A: Might indicate a directory problem. Run Disk First Aid or Norton Disk Doctor to analyze the drive for problems. If a directory problem is found, it is best to back up the files, format the drive, and restore the files. Fixing the problems with Disk Doctor or Disk First Aid is not always reliable. http://www.proaudiosupport.com/a3290...ror-35-no.html
