Thanks and happy new year.

I don't think it is possible to split the mix and edit windows. I tried last night and I couldn't do it with my ati card. I can move around the plug-ins, transport, etc, but the mix and edit share the same desktop. Its the same for me with wavelab. I can move around the plug ins, etc, but the actual "working" wav files are contained in the same desktop space. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, i think thats just the way it is.

I don't think it's possible to....

Noooooooo, nono... I do this everyday. I use a Matrox G450. When PT LE launches it launches as maximized. Just Unmaximize it by clicking on the button on the top right of the main window which has 2 little squares in it (It is next to the Close Window button with X) Then stretch the main program window over the 2 monitors and there you should be able to open mix on the right and edit on the left. Do these after opening/creating your session. Let us know how it went.

Re: how to place mix and edit window on 2 monitors
You have to minamise Pro tools and than stretch the program across both your monitors. You have to do this each time you re-start.
