Default MIDI Tempo Change issue

One thing about Pro Tools....it keeps you humble- almost a religious experience.
I have a MIDI based project I've been working on a few days, and have now presented it to my vocalist.
"Sounds great...but can we do it a couple clicks slower?"
"No problem."
So I'm thinking the four audio tracks weren't a big deal and I can re-do those in a half hour tops, and I'll just change the tempo manually.
Which I do.
Except...the piano track ONLY changes, and the drum track stays at (I guess) original tempo. I've tried highlighting the MIDI tracks individually and changing the tempo that way. I tried creating a new project file and importing the MIDI tracks. Nothing in the user guide or "Help" indicate that tempo changes are anything other than universal.
So what do I need to do for a uniform tempo change on all MIDI tracks?

Problem update:
I notice that when I change the tempo, the gridlines move but the notes do not, even though that happens on the piano track. Is this an absolute/relative grid issue?

Make sure you're in "Ticks" and not "Samples" mode on every midi/VI track. Everything will change with the tempo then.

Drag the tracks so they are vertically larger in the editor window. In the very lower left side of the track you'll see either a little green metronome, or a little clock. Green metronome is what you want...Ticks mode.

Hope this helps.
