Default End for the 6082, 6086 and 6097 errors LE 6.2.3

I own Digi 002 rack running on MAC G5 "Panther". My life was terrified by incredible instability of PT LE 6.2.3. Most commonly I recieved errors like 6086 and 6097. Especially if I tryed to change the H/W buffer size in the play back engine dialogue. In case if I tryed to use some other application such as iTunes with 002rack, I had to restart the computer in order to use PT again (it just gave me those errors I wrote above).
No one from Digidesign technical support could help me with it...And it wasn't their fault!
Forget about all the trubbles!!!!
GO TO THE APPLE'S DOWNLOAD PAGE. DOWNLOAD THE LAST UPDATE FOR OSX - 10.3.3. UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM.
ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL BE GONE!!!

You'll be able also to use as twice as many plug-ins (Reverbs) without any crashes. Try to get PT LE crashed now...I could NOT!!!

Default Re: End for the 6082, 6086 and 6097 errors LE 6.2

Has anyone else upgraded to OS 10.3.3? I have a new iMac 1Ghz running OS 10.3.2 and a LaCie d2 external firewire drive. I have a brand new 002 rack, and the -6097 errors just keep coming. I know digidesign explicitly states in the manual that software updates are a no-no for mac users, but at least one person (see above) seems to have ignored those warnings and been the better for it.

I'm very tempted to give it a try. Would love to know if anyone else has.

it says automatic updates are a no-no. Give the system some time, and wait for other more daring people to upgrade. I upgraded early to 10.3.3, and i have no problems to report except for a fixable auth. error and a problem with AmpliTube LE's bypass, but other than that, it has been very stable (i have some screwy RAM, that could account for some of the problems).

i do occassionally get a Buffer Underflow, but that happens much less than it did on 10.3.2.

I have this problem quite a bit and am at the end of my rope. I will try it and if it fixes it, I can save myself quite a bit of hassle....

Did your problem occur when trying to use a buffer setting of 64, 128 or 256?

hey davetron -

I trashed my prefs like it says to do on the troubleshooting thread, and it worked like a charm. might want to try that first. I've got my machines working together perfectly and am still on 10.3.2 -

Well, 10.3.3 didn't work. D'oh. Nor did a fresh install of panther. The only other person I've heard with this problem ad a G5 1.6, so there could be a problem there....

I really don't think we'll ever see the end of LE error messages. A nice thought though...
