I have noticed that my new second audio drive is Dynamic instead of Basic is this ok?

Are you running Windows Vista Enterprise or Vista Ultimate? They're the only os's that support dynamic drives. See this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...-dynamic-disks

I'd reformat the drive and go with Basic. Back when I was using Windows I'd always reformat a new drive to get rid of any vendor supplied crud on there. And now that I'm on a Mac I still have to reformat new drives as they almost always come formatted for Windows.

Pro Tools will not record to a DYNAMIC drive(learned the hard way). Reformat is the way to go.
