Default multi-band compressor not included?

Hello, all!

If PT is the complete production solution, how come there is no multi-band compressor!?

Also, how come here is no Acrobat reader in the installation package?

As for multiband compression, plenty of hits are done without one. As for Acrobat readers, Foxit is free, works great and takes about 10% of the drive space as Adobe You must be bored today

+1 for Foxit Reader. Portable version here. It's also tab based, which is a bonus if you have multiple PDF's open for those of us who RTM. I dumped that slow and over bloated Acrobat Reader years ago.

Multiband compressors can ruin a mix if you don't know what you're doing - I'd use it sparingly at first.

I'll just say that an addition to the already excellent Dynamics3 range would be nice.

I will say that since a lot of DAWs aren't connected to the internet it would be nice if they included a PDF installer on the install disks. As far as I know you can distribute it for free

I had some issues with Foxit a few years ago and went back to Adobe. I'll admit tabs sound nice and I will have to look at it again.

Interesting. In any case, Foxit is small enough to download to a pen drive and move to any non-internet machine

True. Assuming one remembers to do that

Adobe will fit also.

Much like a motherboard driver disk its nice to have a reader installer of some type available during installation though. Doesn't have to be the latest or greatest.

Or just run it from a thumb drive. No need to install.
