I know this question is coming from the stone age, but here it is anyways:
I own a 466 g4 model with a 30 gig hd, and 640 Mg Ram and currently use Jaguar as my primary OS. My problem is this: I purchased an 001 used and am trying to find out whether I've been ripped off or not. The software included was only version 5.1.1 and therefore won't operate in OS X; so accordingly, I tried to set my startup disk as OS 9.2 in order to launch PT and test out the Digi. The installation process went fine (installed OMS 2.3.8 as well). I restarted the computer but when I went to launch Pro Tools, it took me through all the plug-in loading phases only to tell me it was "UNABLE TO CREATE DAE DECK" and won't start a session. I am completely unsure whether this damn thing is going to work or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
