no active mix groups
I'm running an rca to 1/8 from my 4 track to computer. Got my recording device working (I think) but I can't enable the recording device. Where it should say Line/Mic in it only shows "Input" input L , input R.
what can I do? |

Re: no active mix groups
Unfortunetly PTFree uses the computers WAV INPUT L & R, and does not give the option to set specific external hardware inputs. So what you have to do is setup up your sound card such that it's "listening" to the hardware input you've connected. For example, I had a SB Live! card, and I setup in Creative's mixer program to record input "LINE" which my 1/8 stereo jack to RCA was connected to. This made incomming line signal be played over the WAV driver, which is the INPUT that PTFree uses.
Hope this helps!
