Midi Time Sync
I have posted this once before, and can't seem to find it. I am trying to snyc a Phantom, a Triton, and Pro tools LE. Pro Tools is my clock, and controls playback for the two keyboards. When I hit play, the tempo is way off, and some tracks are faster than other tracks. Where on your site can I find how to correct this problem, or can you tell me where in protools to fix the problem. I have tried the beat clock setup, and manual tempo change. Slowed it down, but it is not in sync. Thanks

Re: Midi Time Sync
Looking at your other post, I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to achieve. It sounds as if you have sequences set to a certain tempo on the other devices, but you don't have your Pro Tools session set to the proper tempo. (without more information about exactly what you are doing right now, exactly what you are trying to achieve, and exactly what is going wrong, we can only guess).
If you are sync-ing the other modules to Pro Tools, and using Pro Tools as the master like you are saying, then your other sequencers will follow the tempo that is set up in the Pro Tools session (because Pro Tools is the master). This is also assuming that you are sending MIDI Beat Clock from Pro Tools (you should be), and your other modules need to be setup to accept Beat Clock input. You would need to ensure that the tempos are all the same. You need to read the Pro Tools Reference Guide (available from the Windows Start menu) specifically chapter 35, and the manuals for your other sequencers to find the information you are looking for.

Re: Midi Time Sync
Ok, I am using pro tools as the master. I do have both keyboards, (phantom, and Triton) as slave midi. When I press play on the Pro Tools console, it will send out the beat clock to the keyboards, and they play. However, they are playing at the wrong tempo (all are set at 96 bpm). Some of the tracks play at a faster tempo, and the whole song speeds up and slows down all during play back. What I am trying to do is find out where in Protools - if it is protools- where I can fix this problem. Or make the playback be consistent at 96 bpm. Thanks
