Deleting stock Plugin Settings
Does anyone know of a way of stopping Pro Tools repopulating it's stock Plugin Settings (that - in MacOS reside in Home -> Documents -> Pro Tools -> Plug-In Settings)?
I manually delete everything that's there but then Pro Tools repopulates when restarting it |

Re: Deleting stock Plugin Settings
Sure it is.
On a Mac, right-click (or control-click) on the application/Show Package Contents/(open) Contents/PlugIns/Core Plug-ins. Delete what you don't want. One caveat, it will repopulate if you reinstall or update/upgrade. You can also go into Contents/SharedSupport/Facotory Content and delete any of the IO or Templates you don't want. You will still have your custom ones that you created. Ditch the chaff. Makes for a much leaner, more organized set of resources and plug-ins.

Re: Deleting stock Plugin Settings
I suppose that's relatively easy for a single Pro Tools install - but if you leverage the workflow of versions both current and previous - make sure to purge the bits within the package contents for each Pro Tools version.
