Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut

As you say, click on either version to bring it in focus – then apply Shortcut What I find interesting is that this appears to be “standard practice” for you, Ben – whereas it seems “not possible/never been possible” for other long-time Mac users!

One plug-in at a time, unless the red target button is OFF What I find interesting is that this appears to be “standard practice” for you, Ben – whereas it seems “not possible/never been possible” for other long-time Mac users! I meant “Click on one and cmd-shift-C - click on the other and cmd-shift-V” works for you – but not for some other long-time Mac users – this seems weird …

Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut
Maybe some people don't know what they're talking about.

Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut
If they do know what they're talking about – here’s my “Grasping-at-Straws” Longshot:
(please excuse my total Mac ignorance!) Could there possibly be anything (Macros?) in your Pro Tools and/or Mac Settings that would explain why the Shortcuts work for you – and not for other Mac users?

Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut
No. This is a standard PT keyboard shortcut. I can remember using it twenty years ago. I never heard of a way to shut it off.

Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut
Works fine here - no monkeying about with targets needed. AFAIK this has always worked without issue...

Re: Copy-Paste Plug-In Settings Shortcut
Yes I have always used this on Mac. Currently on 2020.12 and it works. Both ways, from Audiosuite to Real-time and vice versa.
On Mac it doesn't matter if the red target is on or not. Insert windows and Audiosuite windows co-exist and only close if another of the same type is open (with red target on). Only problem I've had I think with every 2020 version is sometimes the first click on an insert window doesn't "focus" it. Never figured out why so I have to watch the window to make sure.
