I did some quick testing this morning on a 2018 Mac mini i7 with macOS 12.0.1 and Pro Tools 2021.10.
Everything works pretty well except for the plugins that come with Pro Tools. Impossible to open a session with the Pro Limiter for example. If I move this plugin in the "unused" folder, everything works fine.
Tested with Waves V13, Flux::, Plugin Alliance and Apogee plugins.
Audio interface used for the test: Apogee Symphony Desktop.

I have found that Isotope audiosuite plugins are a show stopper here.

have you updated the izotope plugins? There was a batch of updates put out by Izotope (even for RX8 even though RX9 is released.) My assumption was to fix compatibility.

Same here. They don't stop Pro Tools loading, but try and use one as an AudioSuite... bang, crashes Pro Tools.

The Latest for me, a PT newbie and not the savviest of Mac users so excuuuuuse me. I now have 2021.10 running on Monterey 12.0 but everything under the audio suite menu is grayed out. And here I thought it was working.

It is not supported yet, so something like this may happen

I wouldn't upgrade unless you had a compelling reason such as other mission critical software. This includes M1x Pro and Max, We can't get anything past 2021.3 to run reliably on later Big Sur or Monterey. I'd moved the things I do on the side to other tools several months ago.

At the day gig we've been moving what we can to a more reliable platform. There are some instances where we need Pro Tools compatibility and are sticking with older systems. When shows started back up I revived a v12 era HD rig. Still works great. As always compatibility will come you'll just have to wait a bit.

Can confirm Avid Complete Plug-In Bundle 18.10 is causing hangups on macOS Monterey 12.1 (21A559) on Intel.

On a clean install, Pro-Tools launches fine. After installing plugins, it fails.
