2021.6 Selecting Tracks with Playlists is Slow
Selecting Tracks by their track name is very slow to respond in the edit/mix windows when you have many tracks with many playlists (aka your typical scoring session). Takes about a second before it responds after clicking the track name. However tracks get selected immediately as expected when following edit selections in the edit window.
This is using Mojave. Confirmed across multiple 2021.6 systems (Mojave and Catalina) using an empty (no audio) session with 300 tracks and about a dozen (or more) playlists in every track. The culprit is definitely playlist density. Delete all the playlists and track selection is fast despite having 300 tracks. But start stacking up playlists and track selection gets progressively unresponsive. Some other track operations become very slow too, such as deleting tracks or unused playlists.

I'm seeing this on my system also with 2021.6 running Mojave on a 2018 MacBook Pro.
