Hi

Strile 1.5 will not become PT11 compatible as they have released Strike V2 for AAX2 (AAX64) so you have to buy the update and I think it is $49 from all V1 to V2 versions. V2 is AAX 32 aswell according to AIR website So new Strike 2 is AAX64 bit for PT11 and AAX32 bit for PT10

A word of caution though. There has been a huge problem with getting the files downloaded and installed. You can read about it here: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=345575

I have finally managed to download Strike but the installer isn't working.

I would advise waiting until this has been completely sorted before parting with your money.

If I were you I would hold off a week or two until you see more members who have actual success with this whole AIR debacle

We have been on and off for 18-20 days now with hit and miss on the downloads of these instruments and there seem to still be issues with one of more parts of these downloads so .. Wait until they sorted this out 100% as today ain't it!

I took my time downloading everything this past weekend. I'm on Win-7 so downloaded the WIN files. There's a ton of files to download, especially for Strike and Structure. Structure has like 19 files of about 1.9gig each. Depending on where you are and your connection speed, you may have little to no difficulty downloading, or run into some issues along the way. In the end, I had only 4 files that came up corrupted in download and I had to re-download those. But with everything downloaded, installation went smoothly and it all works just fine.

I'm not sure there's any actual issues to be fixed with respect to downloading. Issues some have encountered these past couple of days are probably due to issues related to their own connections more than some issue with the servers.

The main thing is to be patient and get the files downloaded in good order. Velvet, Loom, Vacuum Pro and Hybrid, should download pretty quickly. Transfuser is 3 large files, but should go smoothly as well. Its Strike and Structure that have the most because of all the sample files included. So they clearly take longer and you may get an error or two on one or two of the files. But all you need to do is re-download the one not the whole thing. At least that worked for me.

Also, make sure you've got adequate disk space for the download and install. Because of all the samples, you need a bunch...like 60 gig or so for everything. (I don't recall the exact number). I had to delete some things, and move some other stuff to make room.
