Universe View Bug in 2022.4 [PT-285259]

Hello!

Noticed a possible bug on the new "ProTools Studio" 2022.4.

Running Monterey on MacBook Pro (Intel) as well as Mac Studio (M1 Max)... the latest version of PT 2022.4.

The "Universe" view (aka. the tool bar at the top which displays the miniature session you can use to scroll back and forth) is appearing to me as all gray. There's no interaction possible with it; but it does show markers and tracks slightly... however, cannot scroll - it's like it's permanently zoomed out to max.

Hopefully this explains what I'm experiencing.

Not sure if I'm missing anything with the new version?

Also noticed they added a second tab for clip-EQ adjustments... but I'd prefer the universe view only up there.

My Universe view also seems broken but I thought it was something to do with my colour palette settings. I can see the different coloured sections between the memory locations, but I can't see 'where I am' or any tracks any more. I've never used the Universe to navigate but it is handy for showing me roughly how far into a section I am when I'm editing long-form spoken word (like this 13 hour, 33 chapter, audiobook I'm working on today).

I've reverted back just one version (to make sure it was not just my Macs) and Universe works fine on the older version.

So yeah; it's a bug in new PT Studio

I can't even get my color control panel to appear at all...(?)

I used to just double click on the color bar at the bottom of a track to bring it up.

Confirmed on Mojave. But it's intermittent. Sometimes the session starts without universe view and suddenly it gets populated, later on in the session. No idea what triggers this, though.

Workaround: Click the + or - vertical buttons on the lower right of the edit window to restore the Universe display.

Update - Issue still persist in 2022.5.

May be a rendering issue?

Yes, same issue with our rigs. Universe window displays the same view whether zoomed in or out. I tried removing all plugins from the plug in folder, but it still persists. Did a fresh uninstall and reinstall..no change. Reverted back to 2021.11 FIXED. Back to 2022.5 broken. Same with my ruler offset problem , see separate post. It seems quiet a few user are having graphics related issues since 2022.4 came out.
