No direct crash channel in Strike
I love Strike. But sometime it perplexes me.
I am working with a strike setup and am bus recording the drums to ProTools tracks. But the crash cymbal (in the Strike mix window) does not have a slider for direct mic. It has overhead and room, but no direct. That means nothing comes out of the channel (channel 8) that I have set the crash cymbals too in the Strike Mix window. Am I missing something or is there no 'direct mic' of the crash cymbal in Strike? It only goes out through the overheads and room mic? But then why do I get to have an output for the crash channel in Strike? When I record it (I have it set to channel 8) nothing comes out of channel 8.
