Default What's the most reliable method for Sibelius Integration?

Pro Tools 8 M Powered and Sibelius 7.5

The composer uses Sibelius in the manner one would expect with real notation composing. I'd like to make sure that all the notation commands and nuances aren't lost.

So far I've tried:
1. ReWire - this caused errors - seems my hardware isn't up to the task, and/or I haven't really tweaked the PC for optimal performance.
2. MIDI 1 Import. From the import dialog it looks like it brings over tempo and key sig. This does work. It also creates separate MIDI tracks for each part. Automation seems to follow the notation correctly. However, There are timing issues and pitch issues.

Haven't tried MIDI 0 or MusicXML yet.

Thanks for your thoughts and guidance!

Default Re: What's the most reliable method for Sibelius Integration?

Update -

The "pitch" issues I mentioned seemed to be Kontakt issue and is related to notation and concert pitch type things. I'm just not sure how parts that are not in concert C get translated to MIDI.

I first added a piano, in concert C so that was OK. Then a flute, and that's wher everything went haywire. Tried it in reverse order, same things. But, when I just added the flute, and nothing else, it was fine.

So I have a general idea of what's going on, just don't know where the proper place would be to make the adjustments. I could transpose the MIDI, but that may screw up the notation view in PT. Or, I could tune the instrument in the Kontakt rack.
