Pro Tools Launch Stops at Xpand

Mine is doing the same thing... I did what you did and it still isn't working for me. I didn't delete the avid folder in my applications though, not sure if im supposed to or not.
Real talk though, ProTools support really blows. Oh wait! what support

Just deleted anything in my application folder that had Xpand on it and it worked! There was 3 things I deleted.

Scratch that. It opened 3-5 times then I had to keep hitting Reopen.
Now its not opening.

Moved your posts from a thread from 2009 to a new thread. Please include all of your system details when reporting a problem:
Mac OS X version number
Pro Tools version number
Hardware Setup (computer and audio interface)

And in this case, the version number of the Xpand! plug-in.

Then we can try to help.

I had the same problem a month ago. Turns out it was because I was was using a Razer mouse and the installed utility, Razer Synapse was causing PT not to launch past Xpand. I ran the uninstaller and now PT works flawlessly.
