No Audio coming from Pro Tools

Does anybody know how I can fix my problem I've tried everything from reinstalling to turning every single button on the dam thing again I have Pro Tools 10 and a Mbox Mini black box hooked up to my Macbook bro every time I go to open the demo session I get no sound not a metronome nothing I tried to put my playback engine on every possible selection and yet still nothing is there a volume button on pro tools itself or something that I'm missing if so please let me know. I open Pro Tools create a new session create a new instrumental track go to the mix window use a Xpand92 plugin for the track and use my Oxygen25 keyboard to trigger the notes but still get no sound not even if I go to piano roll and press the piano keys in the Vaccum plug in I'm not sure which I/O I should be using again first time having pro tools so really don't know that much about it so any help would be great at the moment

Yeah click on settings and I/O setup - click defaults - if there is a default setting for the mbox select that !!!!

Did u install the drivers for the mbox????? They don't install with the PT10 install.

Have the cables hooked up right ?? :-> Just saying !!

perhaps the mix knob on the MBox Mini is the wrong way?
turn it in the opposite direction.
