Default Mackie Pro Control with PT LE

Greetings,

Anyone out there using the silver mackie pro control/ fader expanders with PT LE succesfully? I know HUI isn't the prefered control type but the Mackies seem ideal for the "just faders and pan" type control surface.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Actually, HUI protocol seems to be widely accepted from what I can tell, and I did in fact use the ORIGINAL old HUI with PT 5.x. Worked fine, and not just faders & pans. My ONLY complaint was the faders chattered a lot on playback, but that was many years and I'm sure quite a few generations of faders ago. Oughta work just fine.
