Default Session audio stops randomly. HELP!

Hey! So this session Im working on has a gremlin and I can't for the life of me figure it out. All my other sessions are working fine. Heres whats happening..

Ill be playing back the session and suddenly the audio will just stop yet the track will still be playing. This happens so often that its just not possible to restart pro tools over and over which seems to be the only thing that works. Ive only got 4 tracks going too. 2 guitars, 1 bass and 1 BFD plugin. Its not like I'm using up a bunch of CPU. Can someone please help??
