Default 8.0.1 vs 8.0.3

Doing editorial at my place with LE & CPTK (8.0.3cs2), went to dub stage today to prep and my session kept crashing their computer. Full on kernel panic's. Tried creating blank session and importing tracks from mine but still didn't work.

Any ideas on how to make this work without me having to go back to 8.0.1?

Thanks in advance people!

Crash while opening or while working? At what point does the crash occur? Does PT create a crash log? Can it open any of your other sessions? Can you open with plugins disabled (SHIFT-open I think)?

crashes while opening, computer then either freezes or we get a kernel panic and have to restart. Can't open anything that I've created on 8.0.3. I'll ask Andrey about the crash log. Only other thing to add in is that they tried going up to 8.0.3 but had problems with their canopus boxes so went back down to 8.0.1

Do the sessions open if you hold down shift while opening them (per Postman's previous suggestion)?

When importing tracks - are you doing them one by one, to possibly identify a track that's causing the problem?

Are there any outdated plug-ins installed on the system, or possibly in use in your sessions?

what type of computers are they running on the stage - I believe 8.0.1 is as far as a G5 power pc will go.

When importing tracks - are you doing them one by one, to possibly identify a track that's causing the problem? - that has worked for me in the past finding the cuplrit.

tried one at a time and all at a time. All of my plugins are up to date. I'm pretty sure the studios are as well.

I'm going back there on monday if you guys are available for immediate back & forth.
