Default 6.1 - Pleasant Surprise

After using 6.1 on my not-quite-ready new computer, I decided to risk installing it on my current system (which runs 002 5.3.2). I didn't uninstall, though I did save a copy of the ProgramFiles\Digidesign folder.

The install went smoothly, and best of all, all my plugs seem to work correctly, Waves, SampleTank, Amplitube. Reason works now via ReWire.

The pleasant surprise - the SampleTank bug where closing a SampleTank session, then reopening another session using SampleTank would hang ProTools - well, that bug is gone. I can now switch sessions without the thought "does this session have SampleTank? If so, better restart ProTools"

This is good.
