Default Sampletank 2 File Format Question

I recently downloaded the Sampletank update and installed in PT 8 on a Mac running Leopard. Sampletank recognizes the sound files that came with the Sampletank update, of the formats ".sth, .stl and .stw". I subsequently loaded 8 discs of Sampletank sounds that came with the original purchase of the program. The files are in the format ".ikmp", and Sampletank does not recognize them. I installed the 8 discs of ikmp files in the same folder as the "trio" sound files mentioned above.
Any help would be appreciated.

ikmp files go into "Presets" (on a PC, might be similar on Mac).

Thanks for the reply. That was a fix for part of the problem, and here's the rest: the instructions for Sampletank 2 say to load presets by clicking on the Load button. Well, there are TWO Load buttons - one's actually a button near the lower portion of the interface, next to the save button. If you attempt to load a preset by pressing this button, ST2 quits. Every time. What the instructions fail to say is that you're supposed to load presets from the LOAD window at the top of the interface. Then all works well. I can't figure out why they have two different areas to click on that say "Load", and then don't correctly identify them in the manual. But then again, I may be the only one to ever have read the manual!
