Thumbs up PT8 - so far so very good!

So far my upgrade to PT8 has gone amazingly well. All plug-ins (2 iLoks full) working beautifully... Usually we only post here when we have problems... so here's a post for the no-problems-so-far brigade.

Merry Christmas.

I have 3 iLoks full and no problems here as well. The only issue I am having is with the EzDrummer 1.1.5 and S2.0 2.0.2, The GUI's are all whacked out. Change change any parameters but it still triggers the samples correctly.

I just started another thread, but perhaps one of you can assist me. I'm also in the process of upgrading to Leopard and PT8 - almost finished. I see on the PT8 disc a set of three installers called HD Packs 1,2 and 3. No idea what these are, or if they require additional purchases/authorizations. I'm trying not to install unnecessary items and hope someone might be able to tell me what they are first.
Thanks in advance!

And I must say the ProTools 8 'Mini Grand' is extraordinarily good. It's by far the best sampled grand I've ever played...

Happy camper here so far - like it very much. AIR plug ins are good albeit a tad boring looking - and the piano and organ are very nice.

Great job!

I am really impressed and happy with both PT8 HD & LE. All of my plug ins work (2 iloks).

+1 for rock, although I'm very very anxious that at any minute it'll all fall apart. I feel like I'm breaking in a new Ferrari or something.
