Sibelius Midi Export Names
Hi,
I have run into a strange problem I was hoping someone knew something about. Someone is sending me midi tracks exported from Sibelius. When I open the folder of midi files the names show the song title as well as which instrument the midi track represents. When I import them into protools (or GarageBand) the midi track name and region file show only the song title. He's going to be sending me a lot of midi files for a big project so I was hoping to find a solution before spend a long time renaming each track one by one as I import it. I've tried renaming the midi files from the folder he sent but the problem persists even when the file is renamed. It seems like a meta data thing imbedded in the file. Thanks!
