Default Transfer of ownership - Please Help support!

Hi, I purchased an avid support code from the avid store.

I am trying to access the support portal to transfer my hd9 license to someone else but its very conveniently not allowing me to do so.

Can someone tell me IF the avid support code is the SKU avid e-mailed me after purchase?

Can someone also tell me where I can find the damn code? When I enter this sku number in the redeem section of my account, it simply wont accept it.

Is there an alternative person I can contact? I e-mailed avid directly " [email protected]" but no case number as un-able to access support portal.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Wish this was a more simple process.

Policies sometimes change faster than women change shirts, but I believe you need to be on active support and update plan to be allowed to transfer. If that is the case, you need to get current, but luckily Avid just today posted a good deal:

I just paid £72 for a support code????

Better do nothing until Avid answers to you. In case you were mislead, I am confident they would refund that support fee in favor of renewal purchase.

Report back. If you do not hear anything I will let the supermods know about your issue.

You paid for code and do not have access to support portal? Maybe I better escalate this right now, because I have to lift my hands up here. Just wait.

The process at https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/FAQ/en363631 hasn't actually changed in a while, and the specific steps are listed in the Avid Audio Transfer of Ownership Form (PDF) linked near the end of the article. If you don't see your code listed in my.avid.com/products then check my.avid.com/products/notyetdownloaded and click Activate... to add it to your products & get the 9-digit number.
